The Hazleton Philharmonic Brass Quintet
The Philharmonic Brass Quintet started because of a man as his tuba.... no exaggeration! My father happens to be our conductor, and has always wanted a tuba. One Christmas, mom and I presented him with the gift, and it's only gotten worse! The quintet consists of:
Bob Lagana - tuba
Joseph Chuckra - first trumpet
Martin Delehanty - second trumpet
Joseph Rompilla - forst trombone
Robert Generose, Jr. - second trombone
Appearances
The quintet has made many appearances at various and sundry concerts. They play a range of music from light classics, to patriotic medleys and hymns, to light pop and dixie. Each is a member of the Symphony.
