Ferrwood Music Camp
July is the official camping season at Ferrwood Music Camp in Drums, PA. We welcome young musicians to further their skills
as well as form new friendships and enjoy one or two weeks away from home in a fresh-air camp located in the Drums valley. For all
information pertaining to camp, please visit the website at Ferrwood.org designed by camp's newest director, Mr. Phil Latella.
Orchestra Concerts
July 4th - time 7:00pm: (Rain or shine!) This concert will be given at the pavilion in the park in Freeland. Music will include patriotic hymns and tunes, dedicated to the men and women who have served, continue to serve, or will be serving our great country. Concert is free to the public, though
donations are always appreciated!
July 11th - Free Open-Air concert, 7:00pm: The orchestra will be joined with advanced members taking part in
this year's camping season at Ferrwood Music Camp. Campers will provide a small demonstration of pieces and skills they've learned during their stay at camp. Afterward, the orchestra will perform
one of its many summer concerts this season. Parents of campers are strongly encouraged to stay for the concert. Music will include
light classics, patriotic hymns and light pop tunes. For directions to the camp, please call Josetta at the Philharmonic Center at 570-455-2188. ***If you
are planning to come, please bring a lawn chair or blanket as bench seating is limited! Pets are welcome to attend also, but they must be leashed and must be cleaned up after. Concerts are also given rain or shine, so if a storm happens to roll in, bring your umbrella as well!

this year's camping season at Ferrwood Music Camp. Campers will provide a small demonstration of pieces and skills they've learned during their stay at camp. Afterward, the Big Band will perform
one of its many summer concerts this season. Parents of campers are strongly encouraged to stay for the concert. Repertoire will include pieces by Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and much, much more. Dancing is certainly appropriate! For directions to the camp, please call Josetta at the Philharmonic Center at 570-455-2188. ***If you

Big Band Concerts
*** July 18th - It is possible that this concert held at Ferrwood Music Camp will consist only of the Big Band Sound. More information will follow
at a later date.
July 24th, 6:30pm - A concert will be held for the general public at the MMI Preparatory School in Freeland. More information to follow at a later date.
