The Greater Hazleton Philharmonic Society is the proud sponsor of their own Saturday Workshop. This program provides musical instruction on Saturday Mornings at the J.J.Ferrara Performing Arts Center.
We specialize in the instruction of string instruments: violin, viola, cello and bass.
All string instruments are provided for your use.
Brass and woodwind students must have their own instrument and at least one year of instruction and/or the ability to read the musical staff fluently.
Lessons offered to students ages 7 and up.
Students are divded into various levels, depending on ability.
Beginners with no previous experience will be instructed on the flutephone and begin by learning to read music.
Group instruction is every Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30
Lessons are split into two sessions:
Session I: Sept.-Dec.
Session II: Jan.-April
Cost:
Suggested price is $100.00 per session (sessions include a minimum of 10 classes)
